Effective date: July 14, 2026
Fairfield County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no government, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.
Nature of the Service
This private reference service points to Fairfield County and Connecticut custody, release, court, supervision, federal, and records-request resources. It stores no official record and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a document. Some links connect visitors with outside research tools.
Acceptable Use
By using the service, you agree to act lawfully and responsibly. You may not:
- Use information to stalk, harass, threaten, deceive, or harm another person.
- Base credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other regulated eligibility decisions on site content.
- Attempt access to accounts, systems, or data without permission.
- Run bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools.
- Interfere with security, availability, or another visitor's use.
- Break any applicable law or regulation.
No Consumer Reports
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no consumer report, credit report, background check, or screening service, and neither do its advertising partners. Information may not be used for hiring or termination, tenant or housing decisions, creditworthiness, insurance premiums, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.
Links to Other Services
Links may lead to government portals, CT DOC, court and release records, legal resources, federal locators, or outside search providers. A link does not amount to endorsement. Fairfield County Released Inmates does not control an outside service's content, privacy practices, terms, security, pricing, data, or availability. Review the destination's policies before using it.
No Warranties
The service is supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, suitable, uninterrupted, free from bugs or security flaws, or that partner results will be thorough. Custody status and public records change often. Nothing here is an official statement from a government office.
Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the owners, operators, and content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses resulting from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the service or an outside link.
Your Duty to Indemnify
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the service and its owners, operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, obligations, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
Intellectual Property
Original text, graphics, logos, organization, and code belong to Fairfield County Released Inmates or its licensors and content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without written permission, except where law allows.
Changes and Access
These terms may be revised at any time. A revision takes effect when posted. Access may also be restricted, suspended, or revoked at any time, for any lawful reason, without advance notice.
Connecticut Law
Connecticut law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Connecticut.
Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
